Public Notice of Non-Discrimination
Counselors in the Community Association (CITCA) operates its programs and activities in full compliance with the non-discrimination requirements as outlined in the National and Community Service Act (NCSA) at \u00a7\u00a7 175 and 176(f), the Domestic Volunteer Service Act (DVSA) at \u00a7 417, and relevant program regulations found at 45 CFR Parts 2540, 2551, 2552, 2553, and 2556.              

CITCA does not discriminate against members, community beneficiaries, applicants, program staff, or the public based on race, color, sex (including gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), religion, age, national origin, genetic information, disability, military status, familial status, political affiliation, or any other characteristic protected by law. This program is available to all, without discrimination.

Commitment to Compliance and Accessibility
CITCA is committed to ensuring that individuals with impaired vision or hearing, or those who require language assistance, receive necessary accommodations. Where a significant portion of the population eligible to be served requires services or information in a language other than English, CITCA will take reasonable steps to provide materials in the appropriate languages.

Complaint Procedures and Civil Rights Compliance
CITCA has made AmeriCorps’ Program Civil Rights and Non-Harassment Policy available to all program participants. This policy is reissued annually and can be accessed at AmeriCorps.gov. Compliance information, rights of beneficiaries, and complaint procedures are included in CITCA’s service agreements, handbooks, manuals, and informational materials. Additionally, this notice is prominently posted in all CITCA offices and facilities.
